I have done enough weddings to know that the guests and the happy couple all have different taste in music, and not all are going to see eye to eye on what they class as a great song to dance too. Music is such a powerful thing, it can make you cry, laugh, be happy and feel sad all in one song, music has an emotional connection for everyone, so selecting the songs that you have a emotional connection with is so important for you party, music that connects you and you guests will help to keep that dance floor rocking. I always ask couples to think of the songs that they can remember from growing up, maybe a song they used to sign in the car with their parents on trips out, this gives a link to the parents and a connection through music using this playlist as a foundation I can build a picture of what music is going to really get your dance floor rocking.
